Lumiq Launcher (“Lumiq”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an Android launcher designed to provide a customizable home-screen experience with a Liquid Glass interface, application shortcuts, gestures, favourites, hidden apps, wallpapers, sidebar features, and device-control shortcuts.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information Lumiq Launcher accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.
1. INFORMATION THE APP ACCESSES
Installed Applications
Because Lumiq Launcher functions as a home-screen launcher, it needs to discover applications installed on your device.
The App may access:
• Application names
• Application package names
• Launcher activities
• Application icons
• Information required to launch installed applications
This information is used to display your app grid, favourites, sidebar applications, app shortcuts, application information, and uninstall options.
We do not sell or use your installed-app information for advertising or user profiling.
Recently Opened Applications
Lumiq Launcher may maintain a local list of recently opened applications to provide launcher shortcuts and related functionality.
Recent application information is stored locally on your device and is not intentionally transmitted to our servers by the App.
Favourite and Hidden Applications
When you add an application to favourites or hide an application, the relevant package information is stored locally on your device.
This information is used only to provide the requested launcher functionality.
Launcher Preferences
The App may locally store settings such as:
• Clock and date preferences
• Clock appearance
• Sidebar preferences
• Favourite applications
• Hidden applications
• Recent applications
• Gesture preferences
• Sound-effect preferences
• Haptic feedback preferences
• Wallpaper selection
• Glass/blur appearance settings
• Other launcher customization settings
These settings are stored using Android application storage.
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Certain Lumiq Launcher features require Android permissions or special system access.
Camera Permission
Camera access may be required for flashlight/torch functionality.
Lumiq Launcher does not use the camera to record photographs or videos as part of its launcher functionality.
Bluetooth Permissions
Bluetooth permissions may be used to display or control Bluetooth-related functionality where supported by Android.
Wi-Fi Permissions
Wi-Fi-related permissions may be used for Wi-Fi status and supported launcher controls.
Location Permission
Some Android connectivity operations may require location permission depending on the Android version and device manufacturer.
Lumiq Launcher does not use location information for advertising or location-based profiling.

3. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Some Lumiq Launcher gesture and system-control functionality may require Android's Accessibility Service.
If enabled, the Accessibility Service may be used to perform supported system actions such as:

• Recent apps
• Other supported global actions
The Accessibility Service is not intended to read passwords, private messages, banking information, or other private content from other applications.
Accessibility access is used only to provide the functionality described by the App.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
Information accessed by Lumiq Launcher is used to provide and operate launcher features, including:
• Displaying installed applications
• Launching applications
• Managing favourite applications
• Managing hidden applications
• Providing recent-app shortcuts
• Displaying application icons
• Providing application information and uninstall actions
• Applying launcher preferences
• Providing gesture-based shortcuts
• Providing supported device-control shortcuts
• Displaying the selected wallpaper
• Providing sidebar functionality
• Customizing the launcher interface
5. DATA STORAGE
Lumiq Launcher is designed to operate primarily using local device storage.
The App does not require users to create an account.
The App does not require users to provide:
• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Password
• Home address
• Payment information
Launcher preferences and related configuration are stored locally on the device.
6. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Lumiq Launcher does not intentionally transmit your:
• Installed-app list
• Favourite-app list
• Hidden-app list
• Recent-app information
• Launcher preferences
• Selected wallpaper information
to a developer-operated server as part of the launcher functionality.
Android and other applications installed on your device may independently process information according to their own privacy policies.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Lumiq Launcher may contain third-party software libraries required for building or supporting certain application functionality.
If a future version introduces services such as:
• Analytics
• Advertising
• Cloud synchronization
• Crash reporting
• AI services
• Remote APIs
• Online content
that process user information, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe those services and their data practices.
8. LAUNCHING OTHER APPLICATIONS
Lumiq Launcher can launch applications installed on your device.
For example, gestures or shortcuts may open the phone dialer, Chrome, or another installed application.
Once another application is opened, that application is responsible for its own data processing. Users should review the privacy policy of those applications for information about their data practices.
9. APP INFORMATION AND UNINSTALL
Lumiq Launcher may provide application information and uninstall shortcuts.
The actual uninstall process is handled by Android's system package-management functionality.
Lumiq Launcher does not secretly uninstall applications or bypass Android security restrictions.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Lumiq Launcher is not specifically directed toward children.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an online account or registration system.
Because Lumiq Launcher does not require an account, users can use the launcher without submitting personal information to us.
11. DATA SECURITY
Lumiq Launcher uses Android's standard application storage mechanisms for local launcher preferences and configuration.
While we take reasonable measures to protect locally stored information, no electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Users should keep their Android device and operating system updated and protected with appropriate device security measures.
12. DATA DELETION
You can delete Lumiq Launcher's locally stored data through Android settings:
1. Open Settings.
2. Open Apps.
3. Select Lumiq Launcher.
4. Select Storage.
5. Choose Clear Data.
Alternatively, uninstalling Lumiq Launcher removes the App's locally stored data, subject to Android's own backup or restoration mechanisms.
13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when Lumiq Launcher receives new features, permissions, or changes to its data practices.
When changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will include a revised effective date.
